Before & Beside was founded by a registered nurse who lost her 34-year-old sister to breast cancer. Walking alongside her family through hospice showed her how overwhelming crisis decisions can be for families who never had the chance to prepare.

That experience became a mission: help families complete, organize, and share healthcare decision documents before a medical crisis, through a simple, warm, nurse-guided process. Your family should never have to guess.
